Day by day
- Day 1 — Jaipur. Arrive. The old city in the evening.
- Day 2 — Jaipur. Amber, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, the bazaars.
- Day 3 — Jaipur to Agra. East by road, Fatehpur Sikri on the way.
- Day 4 — Agra. The Taj at sunrise, the Fort, and Itmad-ud-Daulah across the river.
- Day 5 — Mathura and Vrindavan. The temples, the ghats, and the evening aarti.
- Day 6 — Return to Jaipur. Back west, arriving in the afternoon.
Good to know
Vrindavan is at its fullest around Janmashtami and Holi. Wonderful if that is what you came for, difficult if it is not — say which when you book.
