The classic route, and it is classic for a reason. Four nights is the length at which it stops feeling like a dash.
Day by day
- Day 1 — Jaipur. Arrive and take the old city in the evening.
- Day 2 — Jaipur. Amber in the morning, the City Palace and Jantar Mantar after.
- Day 3 — Jaipur to Agra. The road east, with Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Agra by evening.
- Day 4 — Agra to Delhi. The Taj at sunrise, Agra Fort after, then north to Delhi.
- Day 5 — Delhi. Old Delhi and Humayun’s Tomb, then onward.
Good to know
The Taj is closed on Fridays. We build the route around that — if your dates make it awkward we will reverse the direction rather than drop it.
